In the late 1960s, research on the left and right brain hemispheres was done by Dr. Roger Sperry.
This was later followed by research on brain dominance by Ned Herrmann, Jaquelyn Wonder, Priscilla Donovan, Beverly Moore and others.
Research on the left and right brain hemispheres and brain dominance have shown that thinking processes can be clustered into four quadrants in the
brain, with each quadrant dealing with different thinking processes.
Most people will use the four quadrants when they think but to varying degrees. Some will use one quadrant more than the other
quadrants.
By analyzing which quadrant you prefer in your thinking process, you can deduce what are your behaviour preferences.
The NBI can give you an indication of:
- how comfortable you are in a certain job
- your relationship with other people
- the way you do business
- your communication style
- your learning style
- your problem solving approach
More than 200,000 adults and children have already been profiled by the NBI.
